No-one seems to have started a thread so here goes!

Lewis Capaldi is on at the moment, good to see him performing after his health challenges last year. DGD had booked to see him but he cancelled because he was unwell.
He's so much more enjoyable to listen than today's rappers!

I'm looking forward to seeing The Searchers. 🙂

I love Glastonbury.
So pleased to see Lewis Capaldiback - he writes the most beautiful songs.
I wish George Ezra would turn up.

Lewis is so genuine and down to earth - I think the crowds just take to him because he is so relatable. I've seen George Ezra live before and he was absolutely brilliant.

I can't find The Searchers on BBC iPlayer!

Just watching Alanis Morissette - hard to believe Jagged Little Pill is 30 years ago this year. Such an iconic album.

Not so sure about CMAT🤔
This is where Google comes into its own.

Each to his own!

Well, our telly has just decided to play up!!
DH has turned everything off at the mains. 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵

Not for me! ☹

GrannyGravy13 Fri 27-Jun-25 20:25:08

Love Glastonbury, it has been on my bucket list, DH doesn’t rough it

Will watch on iplayer.

Liked CMAT. Also Myles Smith and English Teacher ( who are my current favourite band). Alanis Morrissette was very good although I still don’t really like her music. Her voice is still amazing.

Love George. Have you seen his video with Sir Ian
Mckellan? It’s so much fun.

I’ll dip in and out.

Allira Fri 27-Jun-25 20:56:40

We're having to dip out at the moment!!

It’s wonderful to see LC back on a Glastonbury stage.
My daughter and I watched the Netflix documentary LC: How I’m Feeling Now last year, we were both moved to tears at times, and agreed that we just wanted to give him a big cuddle.

MayBee70 Fri 27-Jun-25 21:05:26

Shed 7 were good, too. I had a look on my shelf of ‘cd’s that I haven’t played for over twenty years’ but to my surprise they weren’t there. I think I’ll be digging out my Franz Ferdinand cd’s though. Saw FF, Editors and Kaiser Chiefs for £20 years ago. Bargain!

DS has just enquired whether I can work out from the on-screen info whether I know which is the band and which is the song title?
😡

I don't picture you as a poo in a bag kinda person.

Glamping I suppose possibly?

ViceVersa Fri 27-Jun-25 21:27:02

Loving the Biffy at the moment!

Grannmarie Fri 27-Jun-25 21:27:17

Allira, can you watch on your ipad or laptop, then ideally cast it to your TV?
I think it's live on iplayer?

Allira Fri 27-Jun-25 21:53:50

It's not on iPlayer, at least, I can't find it at the moment.
I'll take a look tomorrow, thanks ViceVersa

Grannmarie Fri 27-Jun-25 22:02:05

I can see it on iplayer just now, it's the main screen. Also live on BBC Sounds.

MayBee70 Fri 27-Jun-25 22:36:15

I’ve never heard of the 1975 confused.

rubysong Sat 28-Jun-25 00:17:26

We watched some of it this evening. What do people think about those in the crowd who climb on their friend's shoulders to watch? I know if I had been in a crowd for hours waiting to see a particular favourite and just as they began the person in front of me climbed on her boyfriend's shoulders, blocking my view, I'd be livid.

MayBee70 Sat 28-Jun-25 00:19:33

I kept thinking how painiful it must be. For both of them...And also how they got up there in the first place.

rafichagran Sat 28-Jun-25 01:36:15

I am enjoying it too, loving CMAT and LC
My daughter has been to Glastonbury a couple of times she said ot is amazing. I too would like to go.
