Hello, please can I join you? This may be just the incentive I need. I have only just joined GN, as I broke my wrist very badly 5 weeks ago, and so cannot get out unless someone takes me - we live in the sticks, and I've been getting rather stir crazy and lonely- and comfort eating.
I am 61, quite overweight and need to lose weight for health reasons, high blood pressure, dodgy knees.
Due to my wrist I can't do too much, but thought I'd dust off the Wi fit and do the step - carefully. I am still in plaster with plate and pins, and hand swells up painfully if I do anything much. Very frustrating.
I will also do a short brisk walk each day, and wondered about trying the resistance bands that jingle mentioned - has anyone else tried them? They were mentioned on Loraine Kelly this week. I will have a look at the diet thread too, as I really need to change my ways.
Any other ideas gratefully received, thanks.
