How do these Mondays come around so quickly!!!!

Someone stole my weekend but partying two nights I think I might be struggling this week. sad

Before we know it we will want to be wearing all our summer dresses and tops and will have to cover up in our granny cardigans grin wink

Sewsilver Tue 28-Feb-12 08:20:25

Glad your GS a lot better

wotsamashedupjingl Tue 28-Feb-12 09:04:43

10st 12. minus a cup of tea. that's about 4 oz isn't it?

I'd better bow out of this thread. I'm not inspiring anybody. sad

Carol Tue 28-Feb-12 09:23:34

Come back Jingl that cup of tea could be at least 7 ozs! Inspirational! (tee hee!) grin

susiecb Tue 28-Feb-12 09:25:13

Another pound gone this week its slow but sure so although i'd like it to be more I have very few clothes that fit me now (in a good way) I look very baggy so a little shopette this weekend in Stamford I think.

Sorry to that some people have been poorly - I do hope you are feeling better and the little GS is all better now. xx

Greenmossgiel, thanks for suggestion about Drs. Odd isn't it how we are good at taking care of other people and don't think to look after ourselves. At least I'm realising that's my habit. Been to GP who tells me I have a "particularly nasty" chest infection. What I wonder would a particularly nice one feel like? Am now on antibiotics so hoping will soon be feeling better. Unfortunately I think that might cause my clothes to shrink again but worth it. Jingl is that the weight of tea and cup? I'm always full of tea so could knock a bit off on scales each time.

glassortwo Tue 28-Feb-12 10:39:21

sew we dont take care for ourselves do we,too busy looking after the others, hope your antibiotics kick in soon and you feel better. thanks

10.6oz was the weight of just the tea but it was a mug as I am not ladylike in the least and cant be doing with cups.

Annobel Tue 28-Feb-12 10:40:06

A litre of water is 1kg. presumably tea is much the same. When I was a WW leader there was always a huge queue for the loo before the weigh-in.

wotsamashedupjingl Tue 28-Feb-12 10:42:26

Oh right! All may not be lost then. [hope emoti]

The only time I use a cup is first thing in the morning as it has to be swiftly followed by a cup of coffee. smile

nanachrissy Tue 28-Feb-12 10:46:10

Jings glad he's better. smile

wotsamashedupjingl Tue 28-Feb-12 10:49:56

Thanks Nanachrissy. smile

greenmossgiel Tue 28-Feb-12 11:31:26

Lovely news about the wee boy, Jings! And Sewsilver - sounds like you caught that infection just in time. Plenty fluids now, remember!! And don't worry about the shrinking clothes - that'll pass! wink

wotsamashedupjingl Thu 01-Mar-12 22:56:41

He's loads better now thanks Glass. I think he's got to go back to school tomorrow. grin

You would never believe that less than a week ago he was fighting for breath and had to have oxygen and god knows what. Kids eh?! hmm

Not been able to do any weighing for the past 14 days,my mother has been unwell so a lot of back and forths have been going on and getting meals where and when we can.I will join you again when things have settled down (without too much weight gain I hope)

glassortwo Sun 04-Mar-12 19:15:39

ronald I hope your Mum is feeling a little better, it can turn everything upside down when you are back and forward caring for someone and meals are just snatch and grab whatever you can find quickly.
Don't worry about your weigh in we will be here when you can get back. thanks
