Here we are again, hope you all have a good loss.
Thats me off to bed cant keep my eyes open.

Its quiet here today, hope that's not a bad sign. I would be over the moon if I got another two pounds off tomorrow making 9lbs in three weeks, but that might be a little optimistic.

Sbagran Mon 15-Oct-12 14:14:53

Good luck for tomorrow glass
I am over the moon grin as I weighed in yesterday at 156lbs exactly - a loss of 3.2lbs at long last! I was beginning to get fed up with being stuck again (patience never was in my weight-loss dictionary!).
I am hoping to keep that off this week as I often find that if I lose a significant amount it seems to be short-lived and some of the total goes back on - almost as if it was a mistake? Fingers, toes, knees and eyebrows crossed!
Good luck everyone flowers

I seem to be beyond help; eating bread again as well sad. Very tired afer leaving work but, although I'm on my feet all day not really using up calories..then get home and too tired to go for a walk. Have never before been so out of control of my weight. I know the calorific value of just about everything; know most diets inside out but the will isn't there. Very annoyed with myself!

crimson I know ^exactly* how you feel. I have always been the sensible one who knew all about dieting, calories, exercising etc.
Now, I just can't get myself motivated at all. sad
There just doesn't seem to be any point any more.

I wonder if it's because I don't have holidays abroad any more; it was always an incentive to get into shape [and I used to do loads of walking when I was away; my joints don't hurt when I'm somewhere hot]. I don't eat unhealthily either. Can't remember the last time I ate chocolate; in fact a meal for me often consists of a bowl of porridge, and that can be at dinnertime or in the evening. Definately something up with the metabolism, combined with not getting anywhere near the exercise I used to.

glassortwo Mon 15-Oct-12 21:57:15

crimson are you eating enough? You have to stoke the boiler to kick start your metabolism.

crimson Mon 15-Oct-12 22:19:22

Too much cheese, I'm afraid. And, tried to take the dog for a walk this evening [the S.O. gives her a good walk when I'm at work] but didn't get more than a few yards down the road before my knee started hurting. I swear that my body just needs heat; two weeks on a hot beach and I'd feel ten years younger. Going to slap the voltarol on before I go to bed!

glassortwo Mon 15-Oct-12 22:27:07

crimson I think you need to tell SO that you need a holiday on medical terms somewhere hot grin but cheese can sabotage weight loss unless you only have a piece the size of a match box.

crimson Mon 15-Oct-12 22:38:04

I can eat it by the pound! It's getting time off work that's the main problem. Every Wednesday [my day off] I plan to go to a gym, but something crops up each time.

Notsogrand Tue 16-Oct-12 05:38:50

I've stayed the same this week, that's about 4 or 5 weeks running now. I'm not really doing anything very wrong.....but I know I'm not doing enough of the things that are very right! I start each week with fresh resolve though smile

Great news about your loss Sbagran!

Jeni Glass and sba Well done all of you, the other, well hard going but keep trying you will get there.

Sorry crimson I have only gone onto GN from my holiday in the sun to tell you that on the first day here I weighed myself and found out just what a lot I had put on before coming away but I had been inundated with visitors. I have now lost that and am back where I was 2 weeks ago but I make no promises as the food here is so good and so very tempting! I have fruit and yogurt for breakfast, skip lunch and DH brings me some fruit then in the evening we have cocktails before dinner, wine with dinner and then brandy afterwards and that is without the lovely dinners! After 4 weeks of this I could be a lost cause!

Crimson do come here it is lovely and hot!

crimson Tue 16-Oct-12 18:43:32
