Hope we all have a better week.

I tried on the dress I want to wear for the wedding in April and a few pounds off and it will be perfect, so its nose to the grindstone time!

Not missing the bread at all but unfortunately my tummy doesn't seem to be flattening down which usually happens when I cut out the bread. For some reason I've started to drink lots of Ribena at night [about 2 pints]. I know I should drink lots of water throughout the day but it doesn't seem to slip down the way Ribena does [still; better to have plenty of fliuds, I suppose]. Moved; so sorry to hear you're still in pain. For some reason I'm always suffering with aches and pains and suchlike at this time of year [it's beginning to follow a pattern]. This time last year I had awful pain in my legs [got worse at night and I was taking codeine to sleep] but one day it just stopped. Lets hope the same thing happens to you. When I had trouble walking completely a few years back I lost weight by making chicken soup with lots of garlic, herbs and spices; I stuck to it because I felt it would help my joints but my resolve isn't so good these days. I almost feel as if my body is crying out for exercise but can't do it and, for some strange reason I've been wanting to have a sauna [haven't had one for years]. Might the cough be a reflux problem?

Hello - I lost 1lb this week bringing me back to 13 stone and half a pound. If I lose another pound next week I will be below the 13 stone marker! However, I do wonder whether the time of weighing is making a difference for me. I always weigh first thing when I get up. However, the earlier I get up, the lighter I seem to be. It was 7.30a.m. to day but 8.30a.m. last week .....................Ho hum!

Sorry glass have been busy last two days and forgot to post. I have lost the two pounds I put on on holiday. So ten stone eleven,I think the next stone will be very slow to come off!

Tegan no, I think the cough is a cough, standard sort. I'm fed up with it keeping me awake so am going to pharmacy to see if they can give me something to stop it at nights. On my way I am going to the supermarket! OK that doesn't sound exciting but it will be the first time my back has allowed me to try it so far this year. If it hurts I can always go back and sit in the car and leave it all to DH but I am in a positive mood. smile

Hi Glass and all my fellow losers! Just to let you know that I won't be reporting my weight on Monday as I shall be away on a short break to celebrate my retirement! I retired at 1pm on Friday and celebrated with chocolates and wine then more chocolates and wine blush
Next week will be my last week of 'time out' then I will weigh next Sunday (10th) which will be the starting point of Mission Weightloss!
I know I am back over the 11stone mark and I want to get to about 10:7/8ish. It's not a lot to lose but it's always the last few pounds that are the hardest isn't it sad
Well done to everyone for sticking to it this week and good luck to everyone in advance for next week - I wish you all loads of success flowers

Good morning all, sorry I have not been around much last couple of days had a busy time was at the Marie Currie Ladies day yesterday, hope I have not blown my chances of the two awards I was on track for this week, but never mind I enjoyed it, I have an ear buzz on this morning how annoying is that when the music deafens you.

celeb remember that ditty I posted a few weeks ago about everyone's journey taking a different route and to maintain is an achievement in its self, life doesn't
Stop because we are trying to loose weight smile
