Well here you go for all you early posters.
I am off to my bed as first day back to school after the holidays and its usually a busy morning. Good luck. smile

Bez Mon 15-Apr-13 09:57:22

Well, happy to say down a pound this week! Lovely surprise when I stepped on this morning as I seem to have been stuck despite all my efforts for the last few weeks.

glassortwo Mon 15-Apr-13 09:59:11

bez its fantastic when the scales move, good start to the week. smile

This weeks total 1lb

janeainsworth Mon 15-Apr-13 10:10:51

Up 200g but not too concerned as we were away last week and managed to resist temptation most of the time.
Had to send back a size 14 pair of trousers and get the 12 instead, so my efforts are having the desired effect.

annodomini Mon 15-Apr-13 10:37:29

5:2 satisfactory so far. I have lost 4 lbs and today is another 'fast' day. Fingers crossed for further reductions.

Marelli Mon 15-Apr-13 10:55:24

anno! You have done well! I'm not going to weigh myself until Friday, after my second fasting day this week. Just having an Oxo drink (13 cals).

gracesmum Mon 15-Apr-13 11:02:50

Oo-er. Scales did not make happy reading.
After reading Saturday's Telegraph article about the noxious and addictive effects of "The Sweet Poison" I have decided to target my sugar consumption - in particular hidden sugars - HFCS - High Fructose Corn Syrup, so often added to so-called Low-fat foods to make them palatable give them any flavour. So low-salt and low-sugar baked beans on toast this morning - no ketchup, and absolutely no Honey Nut Cornflakes sad

Galen Mon 15-Apr-13 11:53:27

Nor mine! 13 111/2

Sbagran Mon 15-Apr-13 11:54:16

I waged war last week and either went for decent walk or went to the gym every day except Sunday and it paid off.
Lost 2lbs - weight yesterday morning 159.8lbs. Would have liked a bigger jump-start but am happy with 2lb.
GD was 3 yesterday so sinned with pink birthday cake and pink wafer biscuits but now it is war again today on!
Been for brisk walk this morning in the fresh air as it's a lovely spring morning - few ominous clouds around though so got out quickly!
Looks like good results this week so far - good luck everyone!

Tegan Mon 15-Apr-13 12:54:16

My craving for sweet food started when I bought a new breakfast cereal and couldn't stop eating it. It does seem to be like an addiction that requires a cold turkey approach. I'm not weighing myself this week; just trying to get some sort of control back with my eating.

annodomini Mon 15-Apr-13 13:35:34

Quaker have a cereal called Oaties which looks like mini shredded wheat. They are very light and crunchy which makes you feel as if you are eating something sustaining, even if it's only 10grams!

Maniac Mon 15-Apr-13 18:18:44

My downfall is 'Maple and Pecan Crisp'.I can eat it anytime, anywherewith fruit, yoghurt or alone.I keep it on a high shelf so less accessible and have porridge most days.

Notso Mon 15-Apr-13 23:00:28

I've stayed the same but I'm not complaining. With 3 consecutive 'celebration & treats ' weekends, I'm looking forward to a clear run of weeks ahead with no temptations!

Good luck everyone!

celebgran Tue 16-Apr-13 09:34:16

Marelli Tue 16-Apr-13 09:37:15

I must report the loss of a quarter of a pound! Was going to wait until Friday, but I might have put it back on again by then grin!

Gally Tue 16-Apr-13 09:41:51

Well you certainly will have by Saturday night Marelli grin
Congratulations!!

I have lost 6 lbs since I left for Oz which is a miracle - just wait until sunday morning. Think it might be a 4:3 next week shock

Reddevil3 Tue 16-Apr-13 15:28:27

Got a shock when I weighed myself on Saturday, after 4 days away in a hotel and 4 dinners in restaurants and each one with wine. grin
So.... started my old standby W/W diet - lost over a stone 2 years ago- and by this morning had lost 500 grammes!
It's easy to do and you can have a meal out once a week (choosing carefully) but isn't it lovely watching the weight come off? smile

DH is used to this by now- eats what I prepare and 'tops up' if he's hungry.

GrannyK Tue 16-Apr-13 15:34:07

Hurrah ! Managing to maintain weight steadily in spite of the odd visit to new Costa with biscotti / garden centre with scones / birthday party with chocolate cake. Obviously am being VERY careful in between . Thank heavens for My Fitness Plan which has been my best " find" for years . (and obviously thank heavens for all the "cyber support" too )

glassortwo Wed 17-Apr-13 10:01:24

jane its the clothes that show the bigger picture, its a good feeling to go down a size.
anno Fantastic, the 5:2 certainly suits you.
grace I think it takes something like that article to wake us up, frightening, let us know how you get on.
galen get some new scales wink
sba back on track again, well done
tegan & mishap These fancy cerals frighten you when read the back of the box, I always stick to weetabix or porridge and use fruit to sweeten.

celeb looking good for Friday.
marelli do we wait until Friday as you will have lost more, just as well its not Sunday grin
gally thats a great reult, dont know if I can claim that for our total or not grin
red I don't think any one method suits us all, glad that WW has been so successful for you. Well done smile
grannyK well done after all those treats, but thats what its all about getting the balance. smile

I hope you all don't hold much hope on me loosing this week, should have been weighed last night but DD was away with work so we are going to another class tonight before Aquafit. I think I have taken my foot off the accellerator since the wedding, but if I have gained so be it I will get absents leaving party out the way on Saturday and get my nose to the grindstone for next week.

I've got to lose half a stone in the next six weeks at least. I'm in panic mode now!

Tegan Wed 17-Apr-13 14:03:45

Does panic use up calories?
