I just loved the music and rhythmn, hardly heard the words! Wish they taught something like that round here.

I think there are different versions of the dance....and as yet they have not taught it at our linedance class and not sure if I should ask!

hi *suzz" if you search "youtube" "blurred lines clean version" it should come up with list (may be on the right hand side of the screen) just have a search through it will say "clean version" not sure what the difference is as I havn't actualy read the lyrics fully! I just liked the tune and the lady doing the dance lol..

Watched video and wanted to get up and try the dance but unfortunately hurt my back (last sunday while stretching), when better will be trying dance moves yeah

if we had to stop listening/dancing to music because of the lyrics..the world of dance/linedance would be a very dull place

I'v just looked on youtube...apparently there is a "clean" version and a "ermm "dirty" version....but to be honest the lyrics just go over my head..I just like the tune and the dance..., maybe suggest to her there is another version! shame to miss out on a catchy dance!

I've pointed out to her that the class I go to is held in Northumberland and not the People's Republic of North Tyneside, in the hope she might change her mind

oh dear!! sorry about that...a they do also use it in Zumba classes.......I wonder if it has anything to do with the lyrics as I seem to think there was a cleaned up version!

Biker you won't believe this but I just sent a link to the video to my Zumba teacher for her consideration and got the following reply:

We have a problem with that song, some people have complained about it in classes (not sure why to be honest) to the point where North Tyneside Council have banned us from using it, so I’m very wary of it.
