Are you all ready for the first week of the New year weigh in.

I have had a good week so I hope for a few pounds off on Tuesday.

Good luck sunshine

Yes, I have tried really hard since Tuesday, not a fattening thing has passed my lips, Ryvitas, cottage cheese, fruit, chicken and salad and vegetable soup, fingers crossed for tomorrow!!

rockgran Mon 13-Jan-14 09:20:17

Back to my pre Christmas weight. Now I just need to lose all the Christmas weight from the five previous years!

ginny Mon 13-Jan-14 09:30:36

Same as rockgran ! Full steam ahead now, I hope.

Today's Woman's Hour focussing on weight issues, worth a listen.x

Notso Mon 13-Jan-14 11:44:25

I've stuck to very low carbs this week and upped the level of exercise with more walking......have lost 3lbs. It's a start smile

Good luck everyone!

coastwallker Mon 13-Jan-14 11:45:58

I'm 2lbs down this week. Just 3 to go to get back to my goal weight

rosesarered Mon 13-Jan-14 11:46:17

Weigh in?? [runs for the hills] grin

Babs1952 Mon 13-Jan-14 12:57:12

I was weighed at WW on Thursday for the first time since 5.12.13 and had put on 3lbs! So a fresh start is needed but I am lacking motivation hmm
maybe it's the weather!

Anyway good luck everyone smile

Marelli Mon 13-Jan-14 13:05:29

One measly pound off hmm! Oh well.....sad.

Tegan Mon 13-Jan-14 13:07:35

It could be worse; I seem to have stabilised. I should go to the gym but I'm going to have a nap as I didn't sleep well last night [excuses excuses...]

Judthepud2 Mon 13-Jan-14 19:57:31

Still got half a Christmas cake, a dozen Tunnocks and some home made fudge left. Well someone has to eat it up! After that I will try ....really. Babs1952 I did the same as you today. Carrying 1 and half stone too much. blush

Judthepud2 Mon 13-Jan-14 19:58:46

Sorry it was Tegan who like me went for a nap!

Tegan Mon 13-Jan-14 20:03:19

Didn't get the nap; grandson came round for an hour instead and we watched the Sooty show. But am going to get ready for my programme tonight and be ready for bed straight away so there's no temptation to go into the kitchen again [just been googling 'calories in one Mars Bar'; not that I'm thinking of eating one tonight blush].

Marelli Mon 13-Jan-14 20:06:27

I've just had two bits of fudge.....

Tegan Mon 13-Jan-14 20:18:39

shock

Notso Mon 13-Jan-14 21:42:24

All this left over Christmas stuff....take a deep breath, put it all in the kitchen bin, then squirt washing up liquid over it.

Then repeat quietly to yourself....I am not a rubbish bin, I am not a rubbish bin, I am not a rubbish bin.

Throwing it away is not a waste of food. It's being kind to yourself. You are SO worth it smile

Marelli Mon 13-Jan-14 22:35:24

Notso - you are so wise! The fudge was rubbishy stuff anyway - tomorrow no more rubbish!! And the birds can have the rest of the Christmas cake....

glassortwo Mon 13-Jan-14 22:42:38

Take any unopened Christmas sweets to the nearest care home, there are lots of people who will enjoy them and the hips wont get any wider wink opened sweeties tip them into the bin.

glassortwo Mon 13-Jan-14 22:43:28

You still battling with the Christmas cake marelli smile

Marelli Mon 13-Jan-14 22:56:56

Not any more, Glass - the wee birdies will think Christmas has come again tomorrow morning!! (I promise me!)

GrannyK Tue 14-Jan-14 09:48:50

DIsappointed that I don't seem to have lost any weight at all and very impressed with those of you who are already back to your pre Christmas weight . Will have to be extra extra careful this week . At least I haven't had any of those "Oh-what-the-heck-I'll-just-polish-off-an-extra-1000-calorie-days" which followed Christmas.

glassortwo Tue 14-Jan-14 15:47:24

I have lost 4lb,not bad smile
