You all sound like Delia Smith. Tonight we had griddled aubergine slices, doused in olive oil which it absorbed like blotting paper, and it tasted not delicious but.......oily! Accompanying was griddled haloumi and corn on cob. Odd eh? My husband is long suffering and poor soul ate it with little complaint (he was hungry). Pud was better. Grilled peaches with raspberries and double cream. Thanks to helpful hints on here I am now only 1lb short of losing a stone, which was my target. BP down, have yet to check BG.
