Kick started, not lick started! Anyway, my advice to anyone thinking of starting 5:2 is to work out your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and stick with those calories.
Also, try to avoid eating breakfast on your fasting days for as long as you can. Eating makes you hungry!
