Something sweet

I would like to lose 1/2 stone.

I have worked out that it is better for me to have something sweet after a main meal. However small.
But I have yet to find my ideal.

What do you have please?
Can be homemade or shop bought.
I have some fruit earlier in the day. For some reason I dont like fruit later.

I find that if you cut your carbs down as far as you can, throughout the day (i.e. no bread, pasta, potatoes etc) you can easily enjoy, for example, a natural yoghurt with some sugar-free maple syrup, or some home-made panacotta (using sugar substitute), or a couple of squares of 85% dark chocolate - guilt fee!

What is sugar-free maple syrup please?

This is going to sound eccentric, but I occasionally have a bowl of porridge in the evening, with yogurt and berries, together with some skinny topping, the golden syrup one is nice. I top with a little high fibre cereal for crunchiness and this both fills a gap and provides the sweetness. The skinny topping is calorie free.

Not eccentric at all.
Good idea.

I refer back to this thread from time to time, and use some ideas on it.
