Five years ago, at the start of the first Covid lockdown, I started doing online maths tuition with my four teenage grandchildren using BBC Bitesize. It is a fantastic resource - select your level and subject, topics within subject. There are videos, questions and answers, tests etc.
Two of my grandchildren have now left school, having done well in maths, but I am still tutoring the two younger ones, one of whom lives abroad.
The BBC have now removed access to iPlayer from people living abroad which means that, not only can my grand-daughter no longer get BBC Bitesize, but it is also impossible for me to share my screen with her.
Only Radio 4, World Service and some podcasts are now available in other countries. I am sure there would be many around the world willing to pay for access to the other BBC channels - and the wonderful BBC Bitesize -what a pity there is no means of doing this.
