The plan to stop access to everything except Radio 4 and World Service has been postponed (I think for several months) while they look for alternative methods of broadcasting. We are still listening to Radio 3.
We have never been able to get IPlayer in France, though some people use a VPN.
The Bitesize website still seems to work?

Yes, it's annoying.
Could your younger grandchildren abroad use a different VPN that works?

Five years ago, at the start of the first Covid lockdown, I started doing online maths tuition with my four teenage grandchildren using BBC Bitesize. It is a fantastic resource - select your level and subject, topics within subject. There are videos, questions and answers, tests etc.

Two of my grandchildren have now left school, having done well in maths, but I am still tutoring the two younger ones, one of whom lives abroad.

The BBC have now removed access to iPlayer from people living abroad which means that, not only can my grand-daughter no longer get BBC Bitesize, but it is also impossible for me to share my screen with her.

Only Radio 4, World Service and some podcasts are now available in other countries. I am sure there would be many around the world willing to pay for access to the other BBC channels - and the wonderful BBC Bitesize -what a pity there is no means of doing this.
