Nigel Slater's Dish of the Day

I used to enjoy watching paint dry on the TV programme Watercolour Challenge, presented by Hannah Gordon. I wish they would bring it back.

Back onto the subject of Nigel Slater - I enjoyed the TV adaptation of his life story told through food, I think it was called Toast.

You are right about Watercolour Challenge, shysal. I really enjoyed that and, now you mention it, I would appreciate it if they were to bring it back.

Just watched Nigel Slater making what I've made so many times - left overs omelette. Exactly the same as I do it with various left overs. I thought it was really ordinary. Didn't realise I was cooking foreign - frittata!

yes Watercolour Challenge! wasn't that good - why did it end - anyone know?

I was raving about Nigel Slater's kitchen this afternoon while DH was watching the repeat. HURRAH!! He's agreed to knock down the wall into the dining room and make a larger open plan area. I've only been asking for about seven years. I haven't told him I want it done before Christmas though.
