Aldi store

We have a couple of these stores in our large city,not near me but I did check one of them out when one opened. most of the brands are different and much cheaper.I might go back and see where these brands come from.Ive heard name brand companies put different labels on their cans.Anyone buy from these stores and what do you buy?

The cassouet is not very impressive, Rosiebee, nor is the duck pate in the jars with pretty cloth tops. There's not much that I haven't liked in Aldi, though.

Occasionally Lidl have a Greek week and they stock frozen feta/spinach parcels that are delicious smile

Just tried Aldi ready made custard, 49p per carton. It was delicious. We had it with a home-made blackberry sponge courtesy of a Jamie Oliver recipe. Naughty but nice.
