Mashed potatoes, well creamed with milk and butter, fish,parsley sauce and garden peas.
A nice quick easy and nourishing meal.

Mashed potato, put into a dish; two holes created and 2 eggs cracked in. Sprinkle with cheese over eggs, bake until crispy on top and eggs cooked. yum. My mother used to make that for me when I was poorly!

Soup, with cheese. Beans on toast, with cheese. Mash, with cheese. Macaroni cheese, with extra cheese. Sometimes - just cheese.

I love fresh parsley Grammaretto. I was always eating it at home from the garden.

My daughters always go for Heinz tomato soup ( other brands available )

Egg and chips. Any time of the day or night; it's always the right time for egg and chips!

mmh.. I think mine would be lovely thick wholemeal bread with seeds, well toasted, left to cool down slightly and a block of real butter that i would apply like cheese, plus some lovely homemade strawberry jam. Yummmmeeeee

Hollow chocolate Easter eggs of the kind bought for egg hunting have just worked wonders for me.

And yes, they were bought for egg hunting.

Sigh.

I think if I wait for another half hour or so I will be well able to enjoy a soft boiled egg with half and half bread toast.

Peanut butter and cheese in a toast sandwich , or peanut butter with marmalade in a toast sandwich

Toast and chunky marmalade or cheese on toast.

Shreddies with raisins and hot milk.

Sardines on toast or tuna sandwich

Bread and milk. It never failed to make me feel better when I was a child!

Before I was diagnosed diabetic it was a pork pie , and ,or a sliced Mars bar. These days it is Greek yogurt with berries.

Macaroni cheese if I can be bothered, and if not a bacon and mushroom sandwich.

Another one for macaroni cheese, or steak and kidney pudding (Waitrose), I always have several in the freezer.

Melted Camembert with a freshly baked baguette to dip. Had it for brunch this morning. Yum!
