We had eggs baked in avocados on a base of beluga lentils and leeks

Chicken curry (remnants of Sundays roast) with mushrooms and cauliflower added.

A hearty stew. It’s a raw blustery day here and I’ve been inspired by another thread to go for a lovely mix of chicken and veg.

Mushroom aubergine curry, salad, naan, fruit.

Homemade steak and sausage pie with mash, courtesy of my lovely daughter.

Blossoming - me too. Off to Tesco now to buy meat and stew pack

GS (7) is sleeping over he has requested pulled pork, with potato wedges, cucumber and coleslaw so that’s what he will be having. (I know I am a total pushover as a Granny, I think it’s my guilt at being a working Mum when our brood were growing up)

Whilst main oven is on I shall make chicken kyivs and jacket potatoes with veggies for us.

Salmon asparagus and pasta with pesto. We have this at least twice a week, but different veg. We're so boring.

Home made chicken curry. Ages since I made it so hope I can remember how to do it! confused

Just some toast, later. Had a pub lunch of quiche, salad and potatoes.

Mackerel and roasted vegetables, followed by rhubarb with greek yoghurt.

Mapleleaf Tue 04-Oct-22 17:56:46

Salmon, new potatoes and broccoli tonight.

nadateturbe Tue 04-Oct-22 20:33:23

Rhubarb and yoghurt sounds delicious.

It's been chilly and overcast. I'm favouring potato broccoli soup, bread, salad, applesauce.

Probably my signature ‘dustbin’ soup - nothing else unless I go shopping, which I won’t, since will be cooking for a family gathering tomorrow.

Fish and chips from the shop in the next village where everything is gluten free -including black pudding.

Witzend Sun 16-Oct-22 15:05:12

A stir fry with assorted veg, half a pack of very small prawns, a sachet of stir fry sauce plus plenty of chilli, ginger and garlic. With egg noodles.

Seven bean chili, bread, salad, fruit. Unless others invite themselves over - then whatever protein they bring along with.
