What's for dinner today?

I've just cooked and scoffed chicken breast fillets, saute potatoes and betroot. Scrumptimonious!

A homemade veggie chilli & rice, yoghurt and fruit afterwards.

Moroccan vegetables and rice with a rather large Pinot☺️, rhubarb and custard.

A home-made chicken curry from the freezer, basmati rice and a poppadum. Along with a nice glass of South African sauvignon blanc

A meal deal from Waitrose - pizzas, garlic mayonnaise and doughballs - as we’ve been out all day, and have teenage GCs arriving any minute. Strawberry cheesecake for pud.

Dinner at the pub - Jamaican chicken stew with flatbread

Chicken thighs with spinach, crème fraîche and Parmesan, Cypriot potatoes, carrots and cauliflower.

Fillet steaks with Stilton sauce and Maman potatoes.

Fried Fish (Indian style) and stir fried vegetables with Thai sauce

Lovely meal at the pub.
Confit duck with parsnip purée, roast carrots, green beans and dauphinois potatoes, followed by thyme flavoured panne cotta with honeycomb and raspberry sorbet.
All absolutely delicious.
It would have been rude not to have a bottle of Shiraz to go with it so we did.

Smoked tofu, mash, corn on the cob and cabbage! Vegan coffee cake with frozen berries and coconut cream.

Today at DH's request, we had sirloin steak with creamy mash and peas. I also made a peppercorn sauce to go with it. I didn't make a pudding g as we had one yesterday.

I love rice cakes, My brother brought me a quantity for Easter.

Rice cakes, hummus, veg, lentil salad, green salad, fruit salad. Cake.

Swiss cheese bake and gherkins.

We're cooking Kofta in tasty tomato gravy, rice, fruit salad, bread. Maybe apple galette - matters who comes round for dinner.

Tonight's dinner will be salmon (with chillies and ginger), with asparagus, mangetout, baby corn and courgette

A good old fashioned meat pudding (been in the slow cooker since 12) and purple sprouting broccoli. Not exactly healthy or slimming!

Chicken chasseur with green beans and cornichons. Enough left over for the freezer.

Cooked black beans in a packet, topped with sliced shallots, sliced tomatoes, white wine, basil - baked. Over rice. Asparagus. Bread, fruit. Chocolate cake.
