A Hungarian veal stew Borjuporkolt I wanted a good recipe to do the meat justice extra garlic makes it nice and rich.

Chicken escalope coated in panko & parmesan, cooked with butter & olive oil, capers and lemon juice, with salad.

M&S Sweet Chilli noodles with stir fry veg and beef strips

Roast pork and a multitude of veg.
Pastel de nata for dessert if they turn out OK. I watched a demonstration that made it look so easy.

Cold Coca Cola Gammon, fried potatoes and onions with coleslaw. Easy night!

Indian restaurant later, so I'll probably have a fish curry

Linda McCartney mozzarella burger on a brioche bun with salad. I am not veggy, but these are yummy.

On a whim, I picked fish and chips up on my way back from the hairdressers. I can’t remember the last time I ate them and they were delicious! I had to convince myself afterwards that it doesn’t hurt once in a while!

I have tried a new chilli con carne recipe (a Nadya Hussein one) which seems very dry and I've just tasted it - it's very hot so I've just added another tin of tomatoes and am wondering whether to sent dh out for more sour cream.

Quinoa/red bean/pea fritters with wonderful sweet red chilli sauce, roasties, salad, bread. Pear galette.

Oh I was going to have chilli, but got lazy and have had a chicken salad instead. Will have to make the chilli tomorrow, as I’ve defrosted the meat now.

Just fruit and yogurt tonight. Had a pub lunch of salad and quiche

No recipe, just throw it all in this evening!
We had quite a lot of leftover roast chicken so fried an onion, garlic, muchrooms, put in the chicken with stock and seasonings and frozen peas, some paprika then added Greek yogurt at the end. Served with rice.
As a way of using leftover chicken it was very good.

The chicken was diced btw!

Baked cod, with oven-cooked tomatoes, onions, peppers and courgette

Aubergine, Tomato & Mozzarella Bake (basically my version of parmigiana) with Garlic Bread along with a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc.

DH is out, my dinner would be his worst nightmare 🤣🤣🤣

I made refried beans and sautéed vegetables for tacos.

Asparagus, mushroom risotto. Salad, bread, hummous. Affogato.

A lamb steak with roast potatoes and spinach.

Bit knackered after work today so fish fingers&chips with minty peas and a banana and yogurt after that and a coffee.

Was going to make spag bol with my minced beef, but I found a cauliflower that needed using up. I ended up making savoury mince, potatoes and cauliflower cheese.
