I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.

Chinese takeaway, I have never cooked on a Friday since meeting DH so it’s either going out or a takeaway chez GravyGrange

Oooh, what's that WWM2?

We are having a sort of fry up with left overs from the weekend.

Cubed potatoes, chopped onions, bacon, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes all fried together with chopped rosemary and topped with fried eggs. I think there might also be some gf black pudding in the freezer!

Salads for the rest of the week. grin

Whitewavemark2 Tue 21-Mar-23 07:28:34

kitty it is a Turkish veggie stew - lots of peppers, tomato’s and onions. Dead easy and healthy🙂

Look up Nigel Slater.

My mouth is watering at the sound of your dinner.

kittylester Tue 21-Mar-23 07:31:21

Whitewavemark2 Tue 21-Mar-23 11:15:23

Change of plan - just found going out of date cream so beef stroganoff with some of the left over mushrooms and some fillet tail out of the freezer!

Redhead56 Tue 21-Mar-23 12:27:30

A lot of veg to use so I made a kalette soup. Bang bang cauliflower and mixed veg latkes to go with leftover turkey.

Jaxjacky Tue 21-Mar-23 12:44:13

Roast chicken with potatoes, carrots, cabbage and broccoli.

Greyduster Tue 21-Mar-23 13:10:30

Steak and ale pie, some mashed potato left over from yesterday and, er, whatever green thing I happen to find lurking in the bottom of the fridge!

Norah Tue 21-Mar-23 14:25:03

Thai basil Pad Krapow Gai, rice, bread, salad. Fruit

Daughter 3 and hers may be round, so chicken in theirs/ tofu for us.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 21-Mar-23 14:58:29

I’m baking what we call Jane Asher chicken, basically chicken baked with mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, a sprinkling of herbs and topped with grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Served with new potatoes, I think.

kittylester Tue 21-Mar-23 17:13:41

That sounds right up our street, LLFL. Could you post a link or the recipe, please.

SachaMac Tue 21-Mar-23 18:56:22

Meaty Bangers from a local butchers, mash, fresh carrots and cabbage and onion gravy. A bit boring but just fancy it.

HowVeryDareYou2 Tue 21-Mar-23 20:30:23

Pub dinner this evening - I had Cajum salmon, with sauteed potatoes, carrots, broccoli and peppers. Then a chocolate ice cream sundae

Norah Tue 21-Mar-23 22:31:40

Pad Krapow Gai, today, was a good recipe, our family don't all eat the same protein. Chicken was an easy add to part of the pot, tofu in remainder.
