Coffee, water, tea, milkshake, milk or anything else that's interesting?

A large glass of hot water to get my system going.

Peppermint tea for me, gets the digestive system working!

One cup of regular ground coffee, then decaf coffee. Cranberry juice and sparkling water.

A strong decaffeinated coffee from my beloved machine . That sounds like a contradiction I know but it is pretty good!

twiglet77

My first drink is hot water with half a lemon, a cinnamon stick, an inch of root ginger and a tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar. Instant coffee with breakfast, hot lemon again after lunch, herbal tea after supper. Lots of water during the day.

That sounds like a mixture I’d enjoy twiglet77 but I’m useless without instructions to start me off. Don’t suppose you’d mind sharing with a total novice hose to make it would you?

lackofcheese (interesting name !) I start the day off with a big mug of water then my first decaf black coffee of the day.

How not hose!

For breakfast - a huge glass of unsweetened soya milk or a bottle of Actimel milk, with 2 Muller yoghurts or Mullerice!

2 mugs of yorkshire tea, strong with milk

Lately one of these, gifted by my DD for Mother’s Day. They are interesting and give a boost without jitters like caffeine, at least to me. I drink just one a day, black.

I can't start the day without having 3 mugs of tea first. Even the weakest coffee seems too strong for my stomach first thing in a morning.

Juicylucy Sat 07-Oct-23 12:42:08

Mug of Yorkshire tea.

Nannina Sat 07-Oct-23 12:44:05

Several mugs of sugarless builder’s tea, brewed in a teapot which is replenished regularly throughout the day

dogsmother Sat 07-Oct-23 12:45:29

Large cup strong Yorkshire taken back to bed, or brought up by kindly mr.

Nightsky2 Sat 07-Oct-23 12:56:19

Mug of weak tea, I hate strong tea. Mug of weak coffee mid morning and a glass of Kefir.

Mallin Sat 07-Oct-23 13:00:40

Cup of builders tea without sugar and half a tongue sandwich with a couple of sweet small tomatoes when I can find them.
Even the dog doesn’t talk to me until I’ve finished breakfast.

PaperMonster Sat 07-Oct-23 13:01:07

A cup of hot water followed by latte.

cc Sat 07-Oct-23 13:16:50

A big cup of real coffee (one and a half shots) with frothy milk. This is my only caffeine of the day as it can keep me awake.
I used to drink a lot of tea but found that I'd gone off the taste, I keep trying to find a tea that I like but no joy.

Celieanne86 Sat 07-Oct-23 13:20:12

Tea in a china mug, not too much milk no sugar, followed by tea in a china mug etc etc, then a bit later toast with tea in a china mug etc etc and as I’m on water tablets I will leave the resulting after effects to your imagination. Thank heavens for Tena Ladies 🥺

tobyianathekid Sat 07-Oct-23 13:38:33

Water. I use to drink breakfast tea but feel that oolong works better for digestion.

Froglady Sat 07-Oct-23 14:54:29

2 mugs of tea every morning. I never used to drink tea until I had weight loss surgery over 20 years ago and my tastes changed afterwards.

Foxyferret Sat 07-Oct-23 15:02:26

Gallons of Yorkshire Tea

Fernhillnana Sat 07-Oct-23 15:08:17

Green tea, then later black coffee.

hollysteers Sat 07-Oct-23 15:16:17

Small mug of strong tea with brown sugar and half a teaspoon of manuka honey. Don’t usually drink tea away from home, just coffee.
As an aside, Ovaltine for the late evening has disappeared from my local smaller shops? I’ll have to go to the big scary supermarket…

Missiseff Sat 07-Oct-23 15:21:58

Tea. Tetleys decaf.
