Coffee, water, tea, milkshake, milk or anything else that's interesting?

I’m trying to remember to drink a glass of water and lemon when I wake up but … Large mug strong, black tea then strong “real” coffee with milk mid morning. Rooibos or herbal drinks/sparkling water with lemon throughout the day.

Water first with my 1st lot of medication, then cup of Ringtons decaf tea. With my breakfast another glass of water with my next lot of meds I have to take with food. Mid morning a decaf cup of coffee.

Two or three large cups of very strong coffee with cream in it.

Lidl's green tea with mint. I used to drink Twinings Earl Grey but it started to taste too strong. I don't drink coffee at all.

China rose petal tea. Wakes me up.

Two mugs of Yorkshire Tea brewed in a teapot, which DH brings upstairs because he usually wakes up before me. The Ringtons tea van man was on our doorstep last week trying without success to persuade me to try their tea. I'm sure it is very good, but I will stick to Yorkshire. Sometimes, if I am pretending to make healthy choices I will have fruit tea later on, but I must have a mug of very strong coffee mid-morning. Just one a day - don't want to become addicted!

It's probably an addiction, but I can't manage without a coffee. Just instant Gold Blend, but absolutely necessary.

A glass of water for my medications then a cup of tea. It’s the best way to greet the morning l know.

Nescafe Alta Rica coffee with skimmed milk added. Never tea, can't bear the smell of it. Tried a fruit tea but it just tasted like weak Ribena.

Tea

My first drink of the day is, and has to be Earl Grey Tea.
There's nothing like a refreshing cuppa to start the day.
I then go throughout the day with iced water. x

Can't stomach coffee. I usually have a mug of tea, quite strong with lots of milk. Sometimes I might just have a mug of milk.

Tea with milk and 2 sugars.
Bags I'm curious, a mug of hot water?

I sleep badly and often wake due to bad back pain etc. So I just drink water at that time, but once I am up it has to be coffee for me. I have my version of the japanese tea ceremony. The cup or mug must be of fine white china, never british rail style thick china, Then the cafetiere is warmed whilst the kettle is on. Then emptied and the exact amount of beautiful coffee is put into the cafetier and the water is poured on as it begins to come to the boil - but never allowed to boil. I breath in the wonderful "eau de cafe" and when ready pour into my mug , adding the smallest amount of cold milk. Then usually it is Bach on radio 3 at 6.55am. It starts the day off well. My wonderful coffee cheers me up , and helps me to cope with the pain and so I begin my day. When I go out I take all the things in my car, with spare cups and cafetiere in case of breakages and can be sure of good quality ground coffee as and when I want it.!! I have taken my own refillable mug for years , to coffee shops. I am sure they wash up properly but it is that horrible thick and sometimes quite heavy crockery I dislike . Tastes so much better from china!

Very small glass of juice usually apple. I never drink hot drinks so it would always be something cold for me.

Tea with a little milk. If I've no milk, black coffee.

Sarahr Sun 08-Oct-23 17:37:21

Fruit tea. Camomile after 5pm.

CBBL Sun 08-Oct-23 19:33:44

Peppermint Tea! Just that one cup, then water for the rest of the day.

Latachaudhary Tue 10-Oct-23 16:58:01

A cup of tea

Witzend Wed 11-Oct-23 09:52:51

Depends on what time I’m up. If dh is up first, it’ll be a cup of tea in bed.
If I’m down first, it’ll usually be a coffee.
