Hot and spicy chicken and veg stir-fry, then some Quality Street

Fish Tagine with almonds. Plums stewed and custard

Today (Monday) we are having a full English breakfast for our dinner.
Bacon, eggs, black pudding, baked beans, mushrooms and toast.
I might make sautè potatoes as we don't like hash browns.

Chicken, sweet potato and green bean curry.

Mushroom, onion & cheese omelettes with salad.

Roasted chicken breast, roast potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas and broccoli

Leftovers from yesterday...beef pie, new potatoes, broccoli.

Bobotie with salad, banana with ice cream and maple syrup.

I love bobotie its comfort food at its best I add grated cheese to the topping.
Yesterday I made enough Polish stuffed cabbage leaves for two days that’s another favourite comfort food.

Another family name for a recipe! This one is from an antiquated Sainsbury's card - just tomato sauce' oil and loads of cheese - mozzarella and parmesan.

With Penne pasta obvs!

That fritatta looks as though it has a crust - how do you achieve that? I'd like to try it.

And ours, a fish pie by Chsrlie which I took out of the freezer yesterday but it wasn't thawed so we had something else instead.
With broccoli (yes, DH, broccoli is good for you) 😃

We've had a very busy day so thank goodness it's an easy dinner.

Can you freeze Charlie Bighams? We only have the curry (it's gf - not much is) and that says it's not suitable for freezing.

I bet you can freeze the cottage pie as well. Don’t think that is GF though.

I do like his meals though.

Some Charlie Bigham meals can be frozen eg fish pie, lasagne and moussaka but not all I don’t think.

Slow cooked M&S Fajita chicken with homemade Mexican rice and black beans. First time for both and very impressed.

Yes, you can freeze the fish pie and cottage pie, but not the curries, I think.

Braised beef casserole with new potatoes and cauliflower. Home made mince pies to follow.
I have also frozen four portions of the casserole.

I'm making pizzas for the GC and myself, then we will decorate Christmas sugar cookies. I made the cookies and icing previously, so can just set everything.

I buy frozen pizza dough. DH took it out earlier, so it will defrost and rise in time for dinner.
