Do tinned raspberries no longer exist? I have a nice recipe for a simple fruit dessert that requires them but I can’t find them in any local supermarkets or smaller stores. I can see dragon fruit, lychees and all manner of exotic fruits but no raspberries!

Tinned damsons have also completely disappeared. They are/were a family favourite..

Neighbour has a Damson tree, we had a basket full, my wife used them to make Damson Gin!. Then gave it all away as Christmas presents - well most of it

Last time I bought tinned raspberries I was so disappointed. Basically all just, hardly any raspberries. Stick with frozen now.

I make a sort of black forest cherry trifle and I had the most awful job getting cherry pie filling but Tesco saved the day
Tinned raspberries are very scarce I agree yes frozen is ok but tinned raspberries or strawberries are the best

Sainsburys had them at Christmas but they weren’t very nice.

flappergirl, I buy cherry pie filling from Tesco. I made a Black Forest gateau this evening using them for the church kitchen tomorrow

I recently bought tinned raspberries from Sainsbury’s on a whim. Haven’t tried them yet.
