Do you have a problem with them? Some people seem to treat them a the devil's food, I honestly can't cook savoury dishes, unless I am using either or both and my family love to have the aroma around the house. I don't think food has any flavour unless they are used, that might be my
Mediterranean routes. What about you?

Like garlic, loathe onions especially cooked onions 🧅
Avoid at all costs,

Quite like both. What would a hot dog be without onions 🧅
Or ragu sauce or just about anything.love spring onions too and baby pickled ones

I really have a problem, because I can't stand either. The texture of onions between my teeth is one reason. And as for the smell of garlic - it makes me heave.

This makes cooking very difficult and the end results are usually bland, but there's nothing I can do about that.

The only vegetables I eat are peas, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes and turnip (swede). Although strangely I love the smell of fried onions.

My mother used onions in cooking, but even as a child I had an aversion to them. So I can't blame my upbringing.

All very strange.

Both essential

I love both but DH has a severe intolerance to garlic so it's a big no no in this house.
When i visit my girls they always cook me dishes with garlic so that I get my fix.

We lifted our onion harvest just a few weeks ago………and we’re now enjoying the fruit of our labour! It is obvious how much flavour is long from commercial storage of vegetables because ours are so much tastier than the bought ones.
Cheese and onion sandwiches are our lunchtime favourite for raw onions and we use a lot in cooking too.

Love both and they form the basis of many things I cook

Love both. We often cook with red onions but my favourites are shallots which go lovely and soft when cooked. We also have frozen chopped garlic as it's so handy for cooking.

Pickled garlic in a jar...a real treat!

Love both, but cook with onions more than garlic. I've taken to buying chopped jarred garlic for ease of use.
