Fuel Shortage Will Lead To Chicken Scarcity?

What about the poor chickens, I always feel so sorry for them and what life they've lived to be able to sell them in these cheap food outlets.

Practically everything in our lives depends on fuel, because it needs transporting. So much the worse because so much of our industry has gone abroad. Cement and fertiliser, to mention just two products, also depend on oil. Something for the Net Zero idiots to bear in mind?

Even the majority of free range chickens are killed using gas, CO2.

Because it's is probably the cheapest even after being shopped thousands of miles around the world.

Good. The less chicken people eat the better. Factory-farmed chickens lead horrible short lives filled with suffering.

I don't want to be a virtue signalling killjoy but as a vegetarian, I would welcome anything that meant fewer chickens were reared in horrible conditions and then killed in ways that are not always humane.

They will get round it, otherwise a lot coild lose jobs, probably say they are going healthier and swopping chicken for tofu or the like
