I saw an old lady in luminous green
In front of a mirror and starting to preen
Twisting this way and that
Does this make me look fat?

The cat was crouching and about to pounce
It jumped up high
And the mouse said bye-bye

Grandpa wanted to get down with the kids
But crawling on all fours his doctor forbids
So he kicked a ball about
But he fell on his snout
The dental work cost him hundreds of quids

The rain is coming through my roof

Grandpa wanted to get down with the kids
But crawling on all fours his doctor forbids
So he kicked a ball about
But he fell on his snout
And saw his career on the skids

I used to enjoy doing crosswords
