Limericks 10 ended with...

My garden will be full of spent rockets
They’ll need to be collected in buckets
It was fun at the time

So I'm off into town on the train
Drat, shopping list forgotten again!
I must try to remember
It's just early December
No need for panic and pain.

New first line 52bright?
She'll be back soon, so I'll write
It's that time of year
When full of good cheer

New first line 52brightwink
She'll be back soon, so I'll write
It's that time of year
When full of good cheer
But not too much or we'll get tight.

Never mind I'm floating on air
I haven't got one single care
I'm floating around in a haze
Laid-back in a daze
I'm sure I'll wake up with bad hair.

I have an invite to the local book club
Didn't realise I have to pay a 'sub'
Not so sure about their choice of book

Didn't realise I have to pay a 'sub'
Not so sure about their choice of book
Not quite my taste but I’ll have a look

Not quite my taste but I’ll have a look,
It's a bit posh for me, I'll probably get a snub.

I'd like to go up in a hot air balloon
And try not to come down too soon
I feel light as air
