She’ll be mad that I’ve said that
No longer be wanting to chat
Shall I bake a cake
Will it the peace make?
I can’t see it mending this spat.

With whom to share all your good news
Shoulder to cry on
When the boyfriend’s gone
And you're having the big time blues.

What a difference a hug makes
Warm and loving for all our sakes
Try one tomorrow
Banish your sorrow
And repay by baking them cakes.

It's said to work like a dream
I'll wake up to find
To me it's been kind
It'll knock off years and I'll beam.
