I know I spoil my dog rotten
Bought him a jacket, pure cotton
And wellington boots

I know I spoil my dog rotten
Bought him a jacket, pure cotton
And wellington boots
To cover his toots

I know I spoil my dog rotten
Bought him a jacket, pure cotton
And wellington boots
To cover his toots
We all need something to dote on.

But he isn’t fond of my cat

But he isn’t fond of my cat,
He refuses to share the mat

But he isn’t fond of my cat,
He refuses to share the mat
But the cat wins each match

But he isn’t fond of my cat,
He refuses to share the mat
The cat wins each match
Because he can't catch

The summer is nearing its end
Temperatures will start to descend
Thank goodness, I say

The summer is nearing its end
Temperatures will start to descend
Thank goodness, I say
Hot flushes at bay

But he isn’t fond of my cat,
He refuses to share the mat
The cat wins each match
Because he can't catch
But he is quite an acrobat.

Remember to refresh each time!

Remember to refresh each time
Or else you might write the wrong rhyme

Remember to refresh each time
Or else you might write the wrong rhyme
I’m guilty of that

Remember to refresh each time
Or else you might write the wrong rhyme
I’m guilty of that
I felt such a prat!

Remember to refresh each time
Or else you might write the wrong rhyme
I’m guilty of that
I felt such a prat!
For adding an out of place line.

The postman brought me a letter

Remember to refresh each time
Or else you might write the wrong rhyme
I’m guilty of that
I felt such a prat!
Now I do it each, every time

I’d love to be a fly on the wall

The postman brought me a letter
Which told me I must do better!

(Going back to the fly on the wall)

I'd love to be a fly on the wall
And hear all the lies, short and tall

The postman brought me a letter
Which told me I must do better!
But I'm not sure why

The postman brought me a letter
Which told me I must do better!
But I`m not sure why
Standards are so high

The postman brought me a letter
Which told me I must do better!
But I`m not sure why
Standards are so high
I did my best, I’m so bitter

I won’t be working hard again

I won’t be working hard again
I’ll smile and jump onto a train

I won’t be working hard again
I’ll smile and jump onto a train
I’ll leave all behind

I won’t be working hard again
I’ll smile and jump onto a train
I’ll leave all behind
Forget all the grind

I won’t be working hard again
I’ll smile and jump onto a train
I’ll leave all behind
Forget all the grind,
I'm retired, as I should explain.

Three cheers for my freedom at last

Three cheers for my freedom at last
Will nail my colours to the mast

Three cheers for my freedom at last
Will nail my colours to the mast
Can do what I like
