Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

NanKate Mon 20-Jun-22 06:45:29

My teeth, I whiten them but I’m careful to not overdo it as very bright white teeth look false.

What ingredients make a perfect trifle?

henetha Mon 20-Jun-22 10:33:49

Sponge cake or similar, jelly, maybe fruit, custard, topped with whipped cream. The lemon jubilee trifle is good.

Do you make your own ice cream? Is it easy?

biglouis Mon 20-Jun-22 15:50:06

No Ive never made my own ice cream.

Have you ever gate crashed an event?

I did when I was younger - several parties and a charity auction. No one seemed to notice.

ginny Mon 20-Jun-22 18:24:19

No, but myself and a two friends were watching guests at an Indian wedding when staying at a hotel. Before we knew it we had been gathered up and included in the reception. We had a lovely time.

I wasn’t keen on the name chosen for our DGS3. I didn’t say so and now he is 14 months old his name suits him so well.
Have you ever found the same ?

SachaMac Mon 20-Jun-22 19:03:04

Only with one DGD, it was more the fact that it wasn’t what I was expecting and it’s not often used much nowadays. I like it now and it suits her. My mother in law said are you sure when my husband rang and told her we had a little girl & her name!? shock It was nothing out of the ordinary at all.

Have you ever had your eyebrows micro bladed, tattooed, tinted, laminated etc. I’ve had them tinted and did make an appointment for micro blading but chickened out.

AGAA4 Mon 20-Jun-22 19:05:30

No just waxed into shape.

Will you be affected by the rail strike?

Beautful Mon 20-Jun-22 21:04:57

Rail strike won't affect me personally, although I do feel sorry for those who are affected by it

What would be the most daring thing you want to do ?

henetha Mon 20-Jun-22 23:35:53

I've climbed a couple of easy mountains like Snowdon and Pen y Fan, part of Ben Nevis, etc, and always wished I could climb Kilimanjaro or even one in the Himalayas. Abseiling down them would be fun too.

I wore sandals today and have blisters. Do you wear sandals? Do you get blisters?

MrsKen33 Tue 21-Jun-22 06:31:15

Yes I do wear sandals. Mostly Birkenstocks but I have a pair of Josef Seibel’s. They are all well worn in now so no blisters.

Many of my neighbours wear summer dresses but wear sort of leggings underneath. I just wear a dress and bare legs. What is your preference?

henetha Tue 21-Jun-22 10:27:41

A dress or skirt with bare legs. But I use one of those mild self tanning lotions on my legs first.

Do you like Sherry? It seems to have gone out of fashion. I'm no drinker, but a small sherry now and then is nice.

MrsKen33 Tue 21-Jun-22 10:38:22

We had my aged aunt to stay. She drank a whole bottle in a week. Sherry that is !

I like gin best with different flavours and different tonic.
Do you prefer flavoured or straight ?

SachaMac Tue 21-Jun-22 10:51:54

My favourite gin is Bombay Sapphire with a plain tonic water. I do try the flavours but always go back to that.

Do you prefer plain scones or fruit scones with an afternoon tea. It’s plain for me.

AGAA4 Tue 21-Jun-22 16:01:06

I like fruit scones but plain with jam and cream.

Do you spend much time in the sun when we have a hot day?

biglouis Wed 22-Jun-22 01:37:55

No I keep out of the sun because I have very fair skin (used to be a redhead before I went grey)

Have you planned or designed your garden/outdoor space or did it just evolve?

Mine was already here when I moved in and I havnt changed it much.

ginny Wed 22-Jun-22 07:25:01

We had our garden redesigned about 10 years ago. We have a small lawn and a good size patio but most plants and flowers are in pots. We find it easy to maintain.

Have you ever had your hair an unusual colour ?
Mine is a little bit pink at the moment.

nanna8 Wed 22-Jun-22 07:27:53

Only once- when I was young and by mistake it went red. Really red.
Do you listen to the radio in the car whilst driving or do you prefer music?
I always listen to talkback, that's the only time I do.

Bellanonna Wed 22-Jun-22 08:01:04

I listen to LBC in the car

Do you use a library?

henetha Wed 22-Jun-22 12:22:51

Yes, absolutely. I've been a member of the Devon library service for 78 years and still use it regularly, being an avid reader but not able to afford to buy lots of books. I'd like to encourage everyone to use their local library. It's not just books these days.

Do you buy books? Real or kindle? Any preference?
Favourite writers? Do you use library computers? Does your library have a coffee shop or a reading room?

AGAA4 Wed 22-Jun-22 14:11:45

I do buy books and people know to give me book tokens as presents. Our library does have computers and a coffee shop.

What is your first drink of the day? I always have tea.

Forgot to add that the TV is also internet capable via a freeview box and a Amazon firestick.

MrsKen33 Wed 22-Jun-22 16:53:19

2 TVs, 2 phones plus one landline. 1 computer , 1 lap top and a kindle.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Wed 22-Jun-22 19:15:40

No, not recently.

Have you ever worn a sarong?

crazyH Wed 22-Jun-22 21:42:45

Yes, when it was the rage

I used to read a lot of Barbara Cartland-type novels when I was a young girl - did you ?

Ali08 Wed 22-Jun-22 22:14:24

No. I read horror books and some Catherine Cookson (being from Northumberland I was curious about them).
