Yes I do, and I try to mainly stay out of the sun as I've had three skin cancers. I slapped on lots of factor 50 before watering the garden this morning.

Have you had a flight or holiday cancelled due to the present chaos?
If not, are you now wary of booking?

Not had a flight cancelled and not eager to travel at the present time. Too many uncertainties.

Have you ever been stranded abroad or significantly delayed at an airport?

My worst was an 8 hour delay at Kathmandu. I just went back into the city for a few hours.

We were delayed at Manchester airport for 6 hours. We missed most of one day of our holiday.

Where are you going on holiday or would go if you could?

We are off to Majorca in September (hopefully!) We are hoping that by September the problems will have eased.

Where is your favourite holiday place?

Venice for Europe and Kathmandu for Asia. I also enjoyed Dubai for shopping.

Do you ever have a barbecue or party in the garden?

Im not much of a party giver myself.

Never had a barbecue or garden party. But have held many a dinner party in my time / nothing formal, more like Buffet parties. Life isn’t much fun now, but also not so stressful. The only is wondering which part of my body is going to play up next ?….
I’m watching Royal Ascot and am wondering if I should have a little flutter …..do you have a serious gamble or just scratch cards and the like occasionally ? I pick up the odd scratch card when I’m out shopping.

I just have some premium bonds and hope each month to win something.

Do you ever win things? I gave up going in for competitions as I didn't win anything ever.

I won a set of saucepans once in a competition run by the Milk Marketing Board. My milkman was delighted because it meant he won a bottle of whisky!

Do you like thunderstorms, and if you don't, how do you cope with them?

Not much, though I can’t resist leaving the curtains open to watch the lightning displays.

Do you ever leave the crusts on your sandwiches (in private at least) even though it means you’ll never have curly hair?

Always and I don’t think I want curly hair !

When away, do you like a continental breakfast or a full English?

A modified English (if in England) breakfast as it’s a treat

Do you still wear a bikini? (I did yesterday but kept a towel handy in case anyone knocked at the door)

I have never worn a bikini.

I am what I would call a messy worker. Everything all over the place although I do clear up properly when I am finished.
How about you ?

I clear up properly when Ive finished a project although I resent the time it takes. It seems like a time wasteful anti-climax when I want to get onto the next project or next stage of the project.

Do you just rush into tasks or new projects out of enthusiasm or excitement?

Im a planner and I like to start out with a clear idea and work out every stage. However that doesnt mean I dont alter or innovate as I go along.

I start with no clear plan but envisage the end. And I clear up as I go. Everything in its place…….

We had no heatwave and it is grey and overcast now

It is cloudy and cool here after a few very hot days.

How do you cope in very hot weather?

I hate it and grumble. Then I set up my electric fan where it can cool both Wiggy and I . I use factor 50 if I have to go outside, but try to stay in as much as possible.

Me too henetha. Hot weather does me no good at all. Is Wiggy a cat or dog? I love the name.

Do you routinely play any games online or on the phone?

I play chess, solitairre and scrabble.

I play card games, and word games but the only interactive one is Words with Friends.

My plum tree had little blossom and is showing only a few plums this year after a bumper crop last year. Is this happening to any of you?

My son's plum tree is laden with plums. He says if food prices rise a lot he will have plums to eat!

Do you grow any fruit or vegetables?

Only Rhubarb, a variety of herbs & tomatoes in a hanging basket. I’ve just been given a cucumber plant so will see how that does, we don’t have a greenhouse so it’s out in the elements.

Have you ever had a greenhouse or wished you had one.

Wiggy is actually a bird. AGAA4. A cockatiel. She's free range, only in her cage when she chooses.

We had a greenhouse when I was a kid and grew tomatoes. I dont have one now and am not all that interested in gardening although I do have a gardener to keep it tidy.

Have you ever made wine from home made recipes?

About 20 years ago I had a phase of making wine from rhubarb, gooseberries, elderberries and blackberries. I even made nettle wine!
