Which TV personality do you think has been misjudged? Maybe you see another side to them.

I think David Beckham gets a worse press than he deserves. Yes he mouthed off about not getting an honour but he does a lot for charity/sport and is a great role model. People who have achieved a lot less have been honoured.

I must say that I agree with you there re Beckham. The Quatar business is dreadful though

It was a joke about parading royal babies in public.
Baker doesn’t have a racist bone is his body.

As an aside, he also wrote one of the funniest books ever.
His memoir of growing up in the East End in the 50s and 60s.

If something gets broken, do you try to glue it together, or bin it or replace it The handle broke off a special gift mug DH just dropped. He’s carefully glued it on, but I’ve secretly ordered a replacement.

Ive been banking online since my bank began it and before that on the phone. I have only been into a bank once in 20 years.

On line, rarely go into a bank nowadays but would like to think I could if need be. I used to work for a bank many years ago. Most branches here are pubs or hairdressers as in most towns.

If times were different on the High Street and you were opening a shop what would it be. I would love a little haberdashers like the one we used to go in as children with the lovely wood & glass draws. Sadly not much call for one nowadays

Do you like winter? I used to love cold crisp days and snowy scenes but the heating costs put me off now.

I love the cosiness of Winter, but I do agree, the energy cost is taking the shine off it.

I find it easier to dress for winter, so that’s a plus, but I do feel the cold so that’s a minus.

Mostly I don’t because. I read more on my phone or a Kindle than physical books, but I have some from various countries and a lovely metal fairy one.

Both really, though I love the feel and smell of an actual book.

Since we currently have several young school children as neighbours, who come round with their parents, yes I do.
I also go round and admire the displays in their gardens. Some gruesome and some very imaginative.

Are you looking forward to the clocks going back? This time of year I get up in the dark, go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, so I don’t see it makes any real difference.
