I knew it from his first glance

That was the start of a romance
I knew it from his first glance
He was a keeper,
With feelings deeper
And marriage, there’s quite a good chance

Unless he leaves me in the lurch
But I've a standby
A buff and tanned guy

A vigorous fight then ensued
They wrestled in mud, in the nude
When it was over
They used fig leaves to cover
