It could be that it is in a draught? They really don't like sudden changes in temperature either so maybe it caught a chill on the way home? In my expereince they don't like to dry out and I guess they wouldn't like cold water straight from the tap either. Hope that helps.

My poinsettia which I bought ten days ago has started to show signs of distress as the leaves are turning yellow. Which is the correct way of watering and should I let it get completely dry,
