You don't have much room to criticise anyone else for being boring, gordino. I've only seen two other posts by you, one to say "Anyone in Surrey interested in gardening?" and one on the Rude Bits thread commenting "the things people talk about". Neither of them exactly interesting. Have you posted anything else?

Anyone with an interest or passion in something can appear boring to someone without the same interest.

Football - boring. It doesn't look pretty and you can't eat it, unlike plants. Utterly useless AND boring.

My OH can bore for England on the same subject with many diversions from the subject he started with, until the listener is glassy eyed and sneaks away.
