Also quantitaviveasing [sp]. There's a racehorse called that and it's quite funny listening to the commentator getting his teeth around it when he runs.

Same here; would I then understand what happened in Interstellar?

I'd like that I don't know what quantum physics is.

Your op to me is an assumption it's only people interested in gardening that will read this thread. I don't garden and I don't do politics, it doesn't stop me reading the threads.
I think I'll start one about quantum physics and see how that goes.

Yes. Talking is a good cure for boredom. Try the political threads - they will keep you awake.

Hi gordino. Let's talk. smile

It takes a bore to recognise a bore so quickly.

Elegran Mon 21-Sept-15 14:28:57

You don't have much room to criticise anyone else for being boring, gordino. I've only seen two other posts by you, one to say "Anyone in Surrey interested in gardening?" and one on the Rude Bits thread commenting "the things people talk about". Neither of them exactly interesting. Have you posted anything else?

Was it the Rude Bits thread that drew your attention to this forum?

Anyone with an interest or passion in something can appear boring to someone without the same interest.

Football - boring. It doesn't look pretty and you can't eat it, unlike plants. Utterly useless AND boring.

Teetime Mon 21-Sept-15 14:11:51

I'm boring- well I'm boring myself today anyway.

Nelliemoser Mon 21-Sept-15 13:55:34

My OH can bore for England on the same subject with many diversions from the subject he started with, until the listener is glassy eyed and sneaks away.
