Daffodils

I planted a bag of daffodils last Autumn in a newly dug over and manured bed. I used a bulb planter so they were all planted at the same depth. To my dismay not one daffodil has come up ? I am not new to gardening but I can’t understand why the bulbs have not come up! Does anyone have experience of this please?

I hope you have your daffodils by now katie1. Lots in my garden - so cheerful!

All the original daffodils have come up. As for the latest batch, two in each group I planted have started to pop up. I will leave them and see what happens next year ?
