Much smaller berries Callistemon but very sweet and juicy. I'm lucky enough to live very close to them and, better still, no one else seemed to have spotted them!

I've never seen them growing wild, Chewbacca.

Bluebelle I see. Ours are in a confined space although we did have some which sent runners under a path and grew on the other side.
You could sell them though, they cost a lot in the supermarkets!

A few weeks ago I took the GC out for walk and we found loads of wild raspberries. Only small berries but oh so sweet and juicy! And all for free!

We have loganberries too but they haven't been very good for the past couple of years, despite being looked after the same as the raspberries and blackberries, which have been excellent.

we had a good crop late June- but we now have tons just about to ripen- huge too, and the few I've had already were soooo tasty. My favourite- and I never do anything with them, like jam, or whatever. Just enjoy them with OH, sitting on the garden swing- a good handful everyday.

Leaving for sunny Tuscany and the Italian Lakes on Friday- just as the best crop will ripen- this always happens. Neighbour will look after our lovely cat, and will eat them for us (and she can have a peep in every room- no cameras).

Enjoy the Lakes!

We went to lake Como a couple of years ago and had lots of delightful trips including the little red train to St Moritz. Superb!

I eat raspberries with my cereal every morning love them. I used to grow the autumn ones but they weren’t so good for two years so I dug them out. I miss picking a handful every day. Enjoy your Raspberries and have a brilliant holiday, stay safe.
