Get rid, or plant it to climb up a tree, and get the other one. It sounds much nicer..

Can you take it back and say you picked up the wrong plant by mistake?

I think one of ours may be Montana "Fragrant Spring but I can't say I've ever smelt any sweet fragrance from it.

MaizieD I'm sure I read in the catalogue that it wasn't as vigorous as some. Currently don't have a suitable tree for it, in fact in the process of planning the thinning out of the hedgerow at the bottom of the garden.

Probably would, Callistemon but Mr P has just squeezed himself behind the oil tank to fix the trellis to the fence in the exact place where I was adamant that it would be just right , plus the ground by the hedgerow would probably need a pneumatic drill to make it workable.

I've never been one for an excess of bowing, although I did occasionally have to curtsey when I lived in staff quarters at Windsor Castle with exdh.
