Yes? I’m watching the lambs tails lengthening and beginning to wiggle in the wind. I have snowdrops peaking through with white buds.

Days definitely lengthening.

Such positive thinking. I love it (and my garden). Thank you all. A peek outside currently contradicts your thinking (Brrrrr.....) but I'm right up with you all in spirit. Onwards......

Reading this thread I've just ahead a lovely memory of last August driving through the country roads and up the lane to my son's house with all the hedgerows rampant and full of blooming honeysuckle.
It won't be long.

We’ve got inches of snow and ice and it’s currently -8 degrees outside. No spring for us just yet! grin

Well, you can't be too careful!
Have you never peeled a potato and thought 'that looks just like a big toe'? grin

My daffodils are poking through, the snowdrops are on their way and catkins are out in the hedge. The camellia isn't flowering yet.

read this yesterday....... there's a picture,

Daily Mail headline yesterday!
You say potato, I say pota-TOE, let's call the Old Bill out! Woman phones police to report a 'human toe' sticking out of a muddy field, only to discover it's a SPUD

I took DGS out for a walk yesterday and we saw bluebell leaves already 3 inches high. But no snowdrops!

Spring is definitely on the way. Our local news just showed tea plants and camellias flourishing.

Lovely post Casdon. ?

Something is poking its head up in my borders already. Not sure what it is, I'm not much of a gardener but I love watching Monty Don and the pooches. flowers

On my walk I spotted catkins and pussy willow, spring can’t be far.....can it?

Have recorded it to watch later, there are too few gardening programmes on tv now ( a few years ago there were loads!)
I have so many ideas for a new small border in the garden, and can’t wait for Spring to plant it up.

Totally agree, I really enjoyed seeing all the lovely gardens and plants from last year.
So uplifting in these trying times. Can’t wait for spring to come again, I’ve already noticed the daffodils poking their shoots up. Feeling inspired to get out and do something this weekend !

I just watched the Gardeners World 2019 highlights programme, and it was so uplifting, just the jolt I needed to get off the sofa, seeing the sun and the plants, and all those amazing plans and ideas come to life. I love the stories of people’s own gardens. Sad moment remembering Nigel too, he was a beautiful boy.
If you didn’t watch it, please do, it will make you feel better too I’m sure.
