Last blooms from the garden?

Yes I do. It is on a south facing wall and quite rampant. Have to prune well every year.

But gets visited by buff tailed bumbles all winter long and the local sparrows use it as cover - it is always full of them.

I’ve got one beautiful yellow rose left in my garden in the north east of Scotland.

Sounds gorgeous IrishDancing I love yellow flowers, especially at this time of year.

We have some roses, fuschias, penstemon, carnations and pelargonoims in flower, Rozanne is still in bloom and some rockery plants have decided to bloom again, as have the lavender which were pruned. Oh, and my new-this-year agapanthus has two new flowers!

Looking around today, there were Begonias getting better and better believe it or not. Lavender, Cyclamen a few other flowers dotted around. But the Callicarpa, Hypericum Elderberry Crab apple and the Holly are coming into their own now, along with the autumnal climbers.
There's been such a lot of sun this autumn, some plants are just glowing!

After mentions of nerines on this thread and lamenting inwardly that I've never been able to establish them, lo and behold, I found a single stem blooming in a pot on the patio! Trouble is, I can't for the life of me recall planting it! My nerine failures have always been planted directly into the garden.. 🤔

My Nerines are doing well this year.
The BusyLizzies have flowered for months.
Can anyone remind me of the name of these Lillies please? I've had them for years but have forgotten their name.

It depends how much you prune it during the summer - it is quite rampant here.

It is what I would call a quiet bloomer - nothing showy. Little pale bells hanging down, but they last for months it seems.

I noticed a neighbour had one and the bells are larger than the one I have so perhaps have a look around?

Just finished one bed yesterday - the mid/late summer bed and tucked it up for the winter - just need to mulch the echinaceas.
Next going to tackle the autumn flowering bed - cut back the asters and Japanese anemones - all except one aster,,which has loads of buds but not flowered yet?

I’m tackling the climbers etc as I go - so roses and clematis plus honeysuckles, done so far.

I love Nerines and not had that much success. So I'm glad you finally have.

🙂 yes it can be found in all sorts of places - last week it was in The Forest of Dean, with all the glorious autumn colours 🙂 walking in utter quiet broken only by deer rutting in the distance.

I have one nasturtium and a rose still flowering - photo later as it’s pouring with rain. My first post on Gardening.

Our nerines are bright pink and are blooming well. Our roses seem to have a second wind and are in flower or with buds. We did put manure around the base which may have something to do with that. My Japanese anemones are still in flower. 8m a bit reluctant to start cutting back and pruning. It seems there’s still life left in the garden yet. We are in the south and we seem to be in a bit of a micro climate I think.

I have pansies from this time last year still blooming, white Japanese azaleas, calibrachoa and a lovely star jasmine that is rampantly in bloom along my back fence, has been since spring and shows no sign of stopping in spite of the fearsome wind here.

Our encore azaleas (both colours) are still gorgeous, and should be for quite some time. Lavender is still strong. Pansies bedded.

My white Cosmos is still blooming, in fact little seedings are appearing. A pity they won’t last.
This fuchsia is still producing its beautiful blooms.

Aldom Schizostylis is what I've always known it as but when I googled (to check the spelling!) Hesperantha coccinea comes up as an alternative name.
