Thank you Aldom - yes it’s finding that space - I too want one next year. I love all the photos, thank you all so much!

My Rosa Alan Titchmarsh.

What a beautiful pink, is it scented at all?

Aldom Wed 02-Nov-22 06:41:19

A gorgeous rose Patsy70

The berries of Lords and Ladies have very weak stems. After the heavy burst of rain yesterday, they are all lying on the ground.
A solitary Daisy. I didnt know I had a type with double petals!

Auntieflo Fri 04-Nov-22 12:26:42

Here are my begonias. They are so cheerful.
The parsley in the front looks OK too.

Namsnanny Sun 06-Nov-22 13:48:41

Looks as if they are all going strong Auntieflo
I'm looking at Christmas decs and still the flowers in the garden are cheering me up!

Aldom Sun 06-Nov-22 18:18:10

Very pretty Auntieflo. Yes, your parsley looks healthy. smile

Oooh lovely flowers!

It's too dark now to take a photo, but we still have a lot of flowers mainly Marigolds, Begonias, Geraniums and the like.

Namsnanny Mon 07-Nov-22 12:22:07

I love Marigolds, are they the daisy or pompom ones? Onwardandupwards
I like the smell of them too.

Autumn Camellia

Aldom Wed 09-Nov-22 08:25:29

A beautiful camellia Norah. I love them, so versatile. I'll find a photo of mine, which is a spring flowering camellia.

Aldom Wed 09-Nov-22 14:57:38

Winter Jasmine and Kaffir lilies.

I planted my spring bulbs in early October and they have started to push through. Not sure what to do, and I am afraid that a cold spell will kill them

Casdon Thu 10-Nov-22 15:08:48

The bulbs are definitely confused. I’ve just found this muscari in flower - should not flower until mid-late spring.

Norah Fri 11-Nov-22 13:54:39

We found a net of bulbs in the garden shed yesterday. Is it too late to plant for next spring? Or plant now and pray for the best?

Rosie51 Fri 11-Nov-22 16:19:35

I'd plant now and hope grin

Namsnanny Sat 12-Nov-22 11:26:19

Lovely photos Norah and Aldom
Re bulbs, my experience is they will come up. Depending on type and size of bulbs, they may be a bit late or shorter in their rush to bloom.
Unless they are left over from last autumn?
Lovely sunny day and still the Begonias are in flower

The Tulbaghia I picked to have some colour in the house is so delicately beautiful close to but determined to turn its head to the smallest. glimmer of light on a dull wet day. The red flowers are one of the sage family with lovely aromatic leaves. The third photograph is a Nesperas or Loquat tree. We have one in the garden but at the moment is surrounded by long soggy grass so this photo is of one outside a restaurant we went to this week.
Sorry the third photo won’t load. It’s a pity because for a short time in November it is a beautiful tree with a lovely perfume. The rest of the year it’s extremely boring!

dustyangel Mon 14-Nov-22 19:57:17

Oh, it did print. grin

Namsnanny Thu 17-Nov-22 16:13:37

Lovely photos dustyangel are you in the UK?
A little perfect Periwinkle still making use of the mild weather

dustyangel Fri 18-Nov-22 15:49:06

No we’re not in England Namsnanny, we’re in the Algarve’s hilly countryside.
I like your photograph too, I love periwinkles but since my clump died, I’ve not been able to grow any more.

Should be fine, Norah.

Our lavender has new flower stalks.

Thank you. We planted, heaped mulch over the bed for winter.

Neither of us know how or when the bulbs were forgotten.

May have pretty blooms come spring.

I found some sprouting tulips in March and planted them in pots, some flowered (not all, the squirrel likes eating the green sprouts).
