Does anyone know what this rose is?

It’s a shrub rose, I bought it years ago and didn’t note the variety. It’s a prolific flowerer with a light scent. There are a few yellow blooms among the mostly pink/apricot/cream.

Looks like my 'Peace' Rose. I'll see if I can find a photo.

Introduced in 1945 to symbolise hope and new beginnings after the end of World War 2.

What a beauty! Google Lens suggests "Phyllis Bide" which is a climber or rambler but can be grown as a shrub rose. Does that ring any bells, Witzend ?

It's either Peace or Masquerade.

Thanks, everybody. It looks like both Masquerade and Phyllis Bide, but all the info says they’re climbers or ramblers, and this is definitely a shrub.

OTOH I have one that was sold many years ago as a ‘ground cover’ - that has rambled right through a large pyracantha, and produces masses of small blooms at this time of year. No idea what that is, either - must have a trawl through the likes of Google.

Masquerade blooms in clusters and Peace singly, although I am sure there are variants.

My best behaved rose is Gertrude Jekyll. She will climb but doesn't ramble and never touch wood gets disease.

I'm just going to fill my wee vases now for our coffee morning.

I have a similar one - no name!

Very similar to Peace which is a hybrid tea, single flowers, bred in 1936 there will be many similar variations of all types.

There are so many varieties these days, in March we visited the Rose Garden in Chandigarh India, they have 1500 different varieties, in full bloom, we were very lucky.
