I had crushes on Davy Jones of the Monkees - which I can hardly believe now - and Ilya Kuriakin out of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Weird.

Teen idols...well, I did go to see The Walker Brothers in Manchester around 1965-ish, and had a huge poster of them on my wall. I still think Scott Walker has a wonderful voice! I was also quite a fan of Donovan. blush

Bob Dylan and Len Cohen . Sad but true! I still love their music and Len is an amazing performer still.

Anagram Tue 24-Jul-12 12:40:32

Never heard anyone call him 'Len' before! grin

crimson Tue 24-Jul-12 16:28:57

grannyinmypocket; did you see Sabu in The Jungle Book. It was my favourite film when I was a child [and still one of my favourites now]. Sabu was quite, quite beautiful, wasn't he blush. Remember when 'Len' went through his 'monk' phase? Didn't last long, though.

Grannybug Wed 25-Jul-12 09:57:34

nightowl Wed 25-Jul-12 10:55:31

If only [swoon].. And let me say, he is one of the few men who still have that effect on me grin

Grannybug Thu 26-Jul-12 00:20:31

Agree night owl! He only improves with age! smile

grannyinmypocket Thu 26-Jul-12 11:15:40

Crimson, yes Sabu was beautiful! you see I've always had a thing for men with long hair , thought it was a hippy thing, but he was the first one , so it's been since I was really young , I think I did see him in Jungle Book.

nightowl Thu 26-Jul-12 14:04:27

Grannybug maybe we could become groupies? I'm up for it if you are grin

I used to wait all week for Michael Landon to come on in Bonanza as Little Joe Cartwright and would not allow my brother to speak whilst the programme was on.

glammanana Thu 26-Jul-12 15:43:37

Then he got married and had all those children in Little House on the Praire, why didn't he ask me ??
