It is such a pity the school may not be on board , you would think if there was a little boy sobbing his heart out after being at his Nannys house and not wanting to go back to the foster carers house after it would touch their hearts BUT in all honesty I have always felt 'labelled' by the school / tarred with the same brush as my DD and I have never fully felt 'supported' by them
So if the school agree with the foster carer then the SW will listen to what they have to say , listen to me ie everything is so ready but hopefully listen to HERSELF about what she feels is best for my GS which is / has been to place him with me ASAP even though it is somewhat worrying!!
I am hoping my GS's new school simply see me as a Grandparent carer who is doing a great job! xx
