Use of acronyms

Oh Dear!.
I have only just noticed the list on the menu bar has an Acronyms box.

I always interpreted ( DBH - dear beloved husband)
As (dear bloody husband.) It must say something about me.

I would hazard a guess that many of us on here will prefer your interpretation Nelliem

Perhaps we should send in a list to HQ !

Spare a thought for those of us with large families - I can't be putting eldest daughter, middle daughter, youngest daughter, elder son, younger son etc etc - I'd be here all day!

I couldn't agree more LullyDully. We had a new head, a great head, who spoke in acronyms, the staff didn't have a clue what she was talking about! I spent a meeting thinking the SMT (Senior Management Team) was the School Meals Team, the only acronym we need to know is SAEWADW, stay active, eat well and drink wine, enjoy retirement LullyDully.

jings, that's what I do! I like,and regularly use, acronyms!!

Thanks Elergran found them. I hated the use of acronyms at work asi felt it excluded people not in the know
