New grandaughter

Over the moon to have a new grandaughter, born two days ago weighing 8lb 1oz. My younger daughter chose to have a child much earlier than my other 2 children (she’s 24) as she has a kidney condition which potentially could worsen as she gets older. Was an anxious time but in the event she didnt encounter any problems. She also managed to complete her masters dissertation just in time for her due date.

Thank you so much for your lovely replies. Parents have named her Emilia. One other lovely thing is they live in the same town as we do so will see rather more of her than other grandchildren who live abroad.
