Any ideas of what to send via the post to two teenagers to lift their spirits. Both, as many others are, feeling fed up and would like to surprise them.

I sent a board game last lockdown and would like ideas for something else.

Age? Outdoorsy, musical, any more clues and I’ll check back with some ideas.

I do understand I feel so so sorry for young teens you don’t say if they are boys or girls ? Or ages?
I found a website on fb ( I was not at all sure it would be ok but took a chance but it was fine and really quick postage ) anyway they sell little silver rings with a feel good/boosting message on them I got one said ‘I am strong’ another said ‘I am me’ and ‘I am loved’ they were only about £10 and came in 2 days I can find the website if that’s any help
If they are boys more difficult

For the younger age group, my DGSs are nearly 8 and 10, I send a comic each usually with cheap gifts on the front or a Lego model, and a small packet of choc drops. They seem pleased to receive them.

I have sent ours brownies and old fashioned sweets.

In last lockdown I got our dgc wristbands with messages on the inside of the “I got this/I am strong” variety. Dgd also wanted to learn to sew so got her some fat quarters and an ideas book. I bought dgs 1 a construction kit for a working model of a remote controlled robot. Hope you find something suitable for yours.

katek sounds similar to my rings I thought it was really appropriate when they are all struggling

They have just had Christmas ( presents) why not leave it until Feb?
For teenagers the best present is an Amazon e voucher, as you don’t know every book or item they already have.

There are some lovely Lego sets for older people. I got my daughter a couple of Harry Potter ones (she is 33 ?) and she loves them.

We also did a couple of escape rooms together online, also a Taskmaster one, which was really good fun.

Sorry. They are 12 and 16 year old girls. Both water sporty and one particularly artistic. Love family gatherings!

Soap making kits may be interesting for them.
Or recipe and ingredients for making organic hair/skin products.
Not too hard for them and you can buy everything you need on ebay.

New games for the Switch or Playstation always go down a treat

Make sure they haven't got them already

cornishpatsy Wed 06-Jan-21 13:21:20

A voucher for their game system or an Amazon voucher is always popular.

The artistic 12 year old might enjoy the choice of crafts from The Works. All very reasonably priced and a wide variety of art and craft kits and supplies.
