That’s the trouble with iPads/phones Shysal. If I had to go and sit at a computer I would spend far less time on here. I even tune in during the TV ad breaks. As you say, it’s addictive.
Oh, and welcome, Tabismum !

Welcome, Tabismum. Yes, I agree with Shysal, this site becomes quite addictive! I'm sure you will enjoy being a part of GN. ?

Hello and welcome Flutterly and anni3.flowersflowers.
Flutterly, I have 6 grandchildren, which used to be great fun, but now they are growing up they are more interested in their electronic devices and social lives than Nan!
anni3, I also enjoy baking and crafts. You might be interested in this knitted Advent Christmas tree. I am nearing completion of mine, and very pleased with it.

Hi everyone! I'm a 51 year old Mum of three and Nan of eight. Been on GN a while but only on the puzzles so far. I'm a tad shy blush

Marydoll Sat 18-Nov-17 13:13:51

Welcome, "Nanny". As were mostly all anonymous, no need to be shy!

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 14:16:08

Thank-you I'm trying to work out what some of the abbreviations mean IE: DD DH etc

HillyN Sat 18-Nov-17 14:44:01

If you click on the 'Acronyms' tab at the top it explains them, NannyTee.

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 16:36:56

What does it look like. Sorry to be a pain confused

shysal Sat 18-Nov-17 17:07:27

I use the desktop site. On here Acronyms comes at the end of the line of options starting 'Active/I'm on/watching/, above and below each thread. Not sure how it looks on the mobile site. At the very bottom of the page you can switch between the two sites.
Welcome to GN NannyTee flowers. Now you have broken the ice I look forward to seeing your future contributions. Enjoy!

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 18:11:46

Ahh thank-you. I am quite a loner at the moment. Stuck at home with narcolepsy/cataplexy. I had my driving licence took away so had to stop work . Was feeling quite lonely tbh x

Mapleleaf Sat 18-Nov-17 23:44:17

Hi NannyTee
Welcome.
DD = Darling/dear daughter
DH = Darling/dear husband etc
If you are using an iPad, the acronyms button is at the bottom.

NannyTee Sun 19-Nov-17 00:59:05

Thank-you Mapleleaf, I am on my Android phone you see.

Mapleleaf Sun 19-Nov-17 10:32:04

Oh, I see. Well, if there any abbreviations you are not sure about, just ask. Someone will be along to help you out. ?

NannyTee Tue 21-Nov-17 12:16:11

I've just spent the last half hour trying to add my grandchildren. It is blank still. Any ideas ?

shysal Tue 21-Nov-17 19:37:42

I think that is an ongoing problem, NannyTee. I eventually managed to add the GCs only for the description to say I had none!

NannyTee Tue 21-Nov-17 19:45:10

Ok as long as its not me haha

Bellanonna Tue 21-Nov-17 19:53:51

Welcome NannyTee. I will probably see you in the Games Threads.

NannyTee Wed 22-Nov-17 05:21:53
