Hello, all. Just back from the eye clinic. We set off mega early this morning to try and beat the rush. Offered our fare on the tram as it was only eight twenty and senior citizens passes are not allowed before 0930. The conductress waved the money away and said "if the inspector gets on, I'll come and sell you a ticket before he gets to you!" But he didn't. The doc had a very thorough look at DH's eye and it is the same thing as last time - episcleritis, which is self limiting but could keep flaring up apparently. It could be caused by some underlying health condition - such as arthritis - but DH insists he doesn't have one. I think he has all sorts of things wrong with him but trying to get him to go to the doctors is an uphill job! Anyway, it is more of the same eye drops. We had lunch in town, I treated myself to a pair of trousers and we came home.
I would be interested to hear what Jackson chose for the baby's present, N&G. A model Bugatti Chiron, perhaps? I hope you all had a nice time with the baby before you went back to squishing on that sofa! (There is a limit to togetherness, is there not?). My GS seems to have an empathy with small children and is very good with them. He is an only child unfortunately.
A new kitchen, Soop? Good Lord, it doesn't seem five minutes since this one opened its doors!
